This Deepavali, we’re thrilled to introduce our first-ever Deepavali special — Masala Chai cake, crafted with a familiar ingredient that holds a special place in many Indian homes — Masala Chai. We’ve infused this bold, comforting flavour into this French-inspired cake to create a truly special dessert made just for the season.

Masala chai, a spiced (not spicy!) tea beloved for its warmth and bold flavours, has been enjoyed for generations. We’ve taken this familiar flavour and elevated it by pairing its rich, aromatic spices with the creamy smoothness of Valrhona Jivara chocolate. The result is a dessert that feels both familiar and new. From the very first bite, you’ll taste the earthy warmth of our Chai Tea Valrhona Jivara mousse, velvety smooth with a luscious cocoa finish. The Masala Chai Valrhona Jivara Cremeux then deepens the flavour with a bold kick of spices, perfectly complementing the milky sweetness of the chocolate. To tie it all together, there’s a refreshing mango coulis and a spiced crunch from the almond ginger croustillant.

Ingredients

Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Butter, Brown Sugar, Chai Tea, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Powder, Dark Chocolate, Egg, Flour, Gelatine (Fish), Ginger Powder, Glucose, Ground Almond, Hazelnut, Lemon Juice, Mango Puree, Masala Chai Tea, Milk, Milk Chocolate, Pectine, Salt, Sugar, Whipping Cream, White Chocolate

Keep refrigerated (0-4°C) immediately upon receipt for at least 30 mins. Avoid freezing.

Take the cake out from the fridge before serving. Best serving temp: (10°C - 12°C).

Use a stainless steel knife for clean slices. Fork into every layer to savour the full experience.

Best consumed within 2 days.

Due to their temperature sensitivity, we recommend transporting our cakes only by car. Ensure the cake is placed on a level surface at all times and keep the AC on high and avoid sun exposure.

For journeys longer than 1 hour, use a cooler bag and ice packs to preserve freshness.

Note: We do not provide cooler bags with orders, but we deliver our cakes using cooler bags to ensure optimal quality.
